The David B. Nichols Health Center is in full operation today, attended 24/7 by island resident and Physician Assistant Inez Pruitt. In keeping with the pattern set by Dr. Nichols and according to his wishes, two physicians visit Tangier patients on alternate Thursdays: Dr. Keith Cubbage, who practices family medicine at White Stone Family Practice on the western shore of the Bay, and Dr. David G. Kemp, a Riverside Medical Group internist. In addition, Dr. Richard Crowder, a retired gastroenterologist/internist from Riverside Medical Group at Gloucester, Virginia, volunteers his services, performing colonoscopies as needed.

Grand Opening of New Health Clinic!
On August 29, 2010 we celebrated the Grand Opening of the long awaited health clinic on Tangier Island and honored Dr. David B. Nichols.
To all of our supporters and friends over the last five years and beyond, many of whom traveled great distances, we sincerely thank you for giving of your time and treasure to make the journey by land and bay to be present on this special day.
